Aroview: A poignant documentary from master ventriloquist and comedienne Nina Conti, who takes the bereaved puppets of her mentor and former-lover Ken Campbell on a Stateside pilgrimage to 'Venthaven' the resting place for puppets of dead ventriloquists, getting to know her latex and wooden travelling partners along the way.

The ventriloquistic device provides a unique insight into a performer's insecurities that are simultaneously sobering and hilarious.

5 stars (Exceptional) Nina takes us on a very personal journey and provides a revealing insight into her craft. This doco engaged me emotionally. Never thought I would say this about a movie with puppets. But I have to say this don’t I? – I adopted the movie! ~Arofan
