Murder on the Orient Express
“a juicy fruitcake of a film (or, perhaps more accurately, a Belgian iced bun: a nostalgic pleasure, goes down easy, irresistible on a Sunday afternoon)”~The Guardian
Aroview: Adaptation of the novel by Agatha Christie, in the capable hands of director Kenneth Branagh, who also stars as Hercule Poirot, the renowned detective whose luxurious railway holiday is interrupted when a killer strikes during an overnight storm.

2 stars (Good Try) Good looking production values but the portrayal of the story is a bit flat. The main negative, however, are the attempts by the actors to speak English with a foreign dialect - it was hard to make out what Branagh was saying at times. ~Tubbs
