A Dark Song
“Its descent into shock and impending doom is the sort of experience that will follow you home from the theater and nest in your nightmares.”~Minneapolis Star Tribune
Aroview: Ambitious Irish independent horror, with the rugged Welsh landscape as a fitting backdrop to a chamber piece following the fate of two strangers in a dilapidated mansion - one a grieving mother and one an occultist hoping to contact her dead son. A resoundingly creepy piece of film making from first time writer-director Liam Gavin.

3 stars (Good Enough) Oram's performance outshines Walker's, and it could stand to be 15 minutes shorter. On the plus side, it mostly avoids the obvious (the third act turn is a doozy), favouring dread and mystery over easy shocks. Flawed but interesting. ~fairbrother
