Aroview: An indie psychological thriller that deftly detours from a benign coming-of-age scenario when a traumatic after-school incident sends the close friendship of two teenagers into a tailspin. The paranoia and violence ultimately escalates beyond the point of reason in the third act, but Kevin Phillips impresses in his directorial debut as do the committed performances of the young cast.
