Funny Face
Aroview: Hip musical boasts the unrestrained ebullience of Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn as a fashion photographer and book-clerk who becomes his model. Set in Paris with a hot Gershwin score, this didn't miss.

4 stars (Very Good) Highlights: Astaire dancing with his umbrella in the courtyard; Hepburn singing 'How Long Has This Been Going On?'. Thoroughly entertaining. ~HiFi
3 stars (Good Enough) As a musical it doesn't rate very high for me - the tunes aren't that tuneful but there is enough in the dancing to rate a watch. ~Tubbs
2 stars (Good Try) Mindless plot, undeveloped characters and an utterly implausible romance between the leads equals dud to me. We're also asked to believe that Audrey Hepburn's face is "funny" rather than stunningly beautiful. Paris and the dancing compensate somewha ~BabyJane
