Dolittle
“The film is so eager to please, so relentlessly quippy and quirky and tipped with antic whimsy, it often feels like visiting a zoo built into a Tilt-A-Whirl.”~Entertainment Weekly
Aroview: Nutty remake of the 1967 musical with Robert Downey Jr. as the Welsh veterinarian who can talk to animals. Based loosely on the book The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle, in which the titular character journeys to a legendary island with a young apprentice and a crew of animals. Should appeal to younger viewers who can overlook a weak screenplay and uninspired performances in favour of some colourful chaos.
