Aroview: Goofy small-town NZ rom-com about a socially awkward man (played by writer-director David White) who finds unlikely romance despite being at the centre of an unsolved mass-murder investigation.
Robyn Malcolm plays the badass ex-cop who obsesses with proving him guilty in what is an unapologetically feel-good send up of Kiwi archetypes, but without much in the way of nuance. Sound-tracked by the likes of The Phoenix Foundation and Marlon Williams.

2 stars (Good Try) I suspect I know what kind of comedy it wants to be - it is a type that is hit and miss with the viewer. On a first viewing, it misses for me but it will find an audience. ~Tubbs
