Orchestra Wives

Aroview: Swing-era musical featuring the Glenn Miller orchestra, with Miller himself playing the leader of a band.

When the trumpet player spontaneously gets married, his new wife finds she must contend with with petty behaviour of the other band members' wives as they tour across the USA. Eventually the tensions threaten the whole band. Uncharacteristically substantial for a musical of this era, but still chock full of rousing tunes.
