Truck Turner
Aroview: Neo-noir blaxploitation with soul singer Isaac Hayes playing a professional football player who suffers an injury and turns to bounty hunting in the sun-baked LA suburbs. Soon he is hired to hunt down a pimp who has skipped jail, and getting ambushed by another bounty hunter going after the same guy.
Originally released as a double feature with FOXY BROWN, this is an impossibly funky cross between LA crime noir and classic blaxploitation filled with great fashion and car chases. The soundtrack is by Hayes himself (which Quentin Tarantino borrowed liberally from in the KILL BILL series).
