Andersonville (TV Mini-series)

Aroview: TV western set during the American Civil War, about a group of Union soldiers who are sent to a Confederate prison camp near Andersonville, Georgia after being captured.

Loosely based on historical fact, as far as can be known from the diaries of John Ransom, a Union soldier who was captured and sent there. A large scale production funded by American Civil War enthusiast and CNN founder Ted Turner.
