Cold Mountain
Aroview: Prestige historical epic set in the closing days of the American Civil War, with a wounded confederate soldier (Law) deserting the ranks to rejoin his sweetheart (Kidman) back in North Carolina.
Meanwhile, Kidman faces her own battle to survive on the impoverished home-front, with the help of fiesty, face-pulling newcomer Zellweger. Loosely based around 'The Odyssey', this splendidly produced, incident filled drama manages to mostly overcome the essential tepidness of the central love story, as evidenced by the numerous award nominations it has received.

2 stars (Good Try) Assembled a great cast in Baker, Atkins, Gleeson, Hoffman, Sutherland and Winstone but they are underused. Couldn't understand a word Zellweger said so she was a waste of time. Some of the characters exaggerated and end up looking silly. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) Loved Renee Zellweger, she was briliant, and the story is good ~Milana
