Unguarded Moment, The
Aroview: Film noir with MGM star Esther Williams playing a High School music teacher and unmarried 'career woman' who is targeted by a stalker.
Although police lieutenant George Nadar believes her, she still loses her job after reporting her sexual assault. A gripping potboiler loaded with menace and tension, with a few cliches thrown into an otherwise genuine portrayal of 50's sexism, which eerily evokes more modern forms of victim blaming. Based on a story by Rosalind Russell, the great 40's actress.
