Mind Game
Aroview: Inventive Japanese animation based on the manga of the same by Robin Nishi, depicting the psychedelic self-discovery of a socially inept artist.
Thrust into a sort of limbo after a deadly encounter with two Yakuza, he manages to take control of his own reality and change the fate his childhood crush. A cult favorite among anime fans for its wild visuals, matched by a hallucinogenic score from Seiichi Yamamoto (of infamous Japanese noise rock band Boredoms).
