It's Great to be Young

UK 1956, 90 minutes
Dir. Cyril Frankel
Genres: Comedy / Musical

Synopsis: A British musical comedy in Eastmancolor, starring John Mills as an inspirational high school music teacher who leads his students in revolt against a strict headmaster. One of the first teenage musicals to be made in the UK, and reviewers noted the combination of a very American genre and soundtrack with such British settings to be quite a contrast. Still an enjoyable watch and Mills is likeable as always.
