Aroview: Spanish prison drama set in Barcelona's Modelo prison (and filmed in the real location), during Spain's transition to democracy in the 1970s. The story is inspired by a real attempted prison break, focusing on a newly incarcerated young accountant and an older inmate.

A depiction of brutality and injustice but also friendship, with well-developed and believable characters and powerful performances. Nominated for 16 Goya awards.
