Michael Palin's Hemingway Adventure

UK 1999, 193 minutes
English
Rating: [PG]
Genres: Television, Documentary / Travel

Topics: Literary Arts.

Aroview: The fourth of Michael Palin's travel series with the BBC, this one recounts the life of author Ernest Hemingway, as Palin travels to places that featured in Hemingway's life. These include Pamplona, Kenya, Cuba, Key West and Chicago.

Michael Palin is as amiable as always, which makes for quite a contrast with a series about Hemingway, a famously irascible character. While Palin's subsequent travel shows would become a bit more serious and straight-faced, this one still has some comedy in it.
