5 stars (Exceptional) Still extremely powerful, even this far on. A damn sight better than many films that have sound and colour. The Odessa steps sequence is still brilliant and iconic. ~Wizzums
5 stars (Exceptional) As well as its well deserved fame for editing the musical score by Edmund Meisel is outstanding. Odessa harbour looks beautiful. The intertitles help the pace of the story telling and maybe should be used by more film makers. ~Tubbs
