Happy Gilmore
Aroview: After a couple of false strokes, standup humourist hits par with this golfing comedy, playing a teenage sociopath-cum-golf natural, who drives his way into the US tour, so as to pay off his grandma's back taxes. It's a CADDYSHACK for the nineties, to a tee.

3 stars (Good Enough) It may not be original in the slightest (it seems few Sandler flicks are), but this golfing comedy brings on the laughs, particularly for Sandler fans. Possibly remains my favourite Sandler comedy to date. ~Tom H
4 stars (Very Good) Despite general crassness, it's still very funny. ~dr.strangelove
2 stars (Good Try) Its unnecessarily crude in parts which hinders one's appreciation of the passable comedy segments that follow. ~Tubbs
