Wedding Singer, The
Aroview: Slightly premature 80s nostalgia comedy, though the benefit of hindsight makes amends on much of the genuine article (PRETTY IN PINK et al).
This perfectly blow-waved crowd-pleaser finds the right mix of irony and sympathy, with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler well mis-matched, and period fashion and music sure to provoke impassioned debate. Alas, Molly Ringwald does not make a cameo.

3 stars (Good Enough) Funny and heart-warming romantic comedy, if kind off generic. ~dr.strangelove
3 stars (Good Enough) It can be funny, but that may depend on whether you're fond of Sandler. It is, however, quite heartwarming, in that predictable rom-com kind of way. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Occassionally hilarious flashback to the 80's, a wanna-be rock-star falls for a waitress who's about to marry a complete toad. Worth seeing for "Love Stinks" as well as other original gems that sum up that cringeful era of music so perfectly. ~GenXGirl
