One Night Stand

Aroview: The long-awaited 'morning after' LEAVING LAS VEGAS dawns for Brit dir. Mike Figgis, another impassioned drama mapping the ill-matched coupling of two lost souls in this particular suite. Story can't quite sustain the intense anti-conventions of the opening as the infidelity begins to encircle spouses and friends, but the effect is still a fond, if slightly blurred memory.
