Godzilla
Aroview: This box-office behemoth from the INDEPENDENCE DAY-makers is not nearly as terrible as the backlash would have you believe - in fact it's mercifully free of the 'desert storm' mentality that invaded their previous outing. Visually sombre (it never stops raining) but playful in spirit, this refit of the Japanese big-lizard captures her reptile grace in stunning CGI as she untidies New York City.

3 stars (Good Enough) A decent American version of the original Japanese monster, Godzilla is by no means a bad film - but in comparison to Jurassic Park, it's just not particularly memorable. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Its strongest point is that the film doesn't take itself too seriously therefore Matthew Broderick is well cast.Go Godzilla & the baby Godzillas! ~Tubbs
