Aroview: Ranking up there with the best movies-about-movies, this supremely stylish, sexy film showcases an unseen side of Hong Kong action diva Maggie Cheung - here playing herself (replete with impeccable English), an actress invited to Paris to play the black-clad, cat-burgling central role in a remake of the silent classic "Les Vampires".
The anguish, absurdity and excitement of film-making is expertly captured in 'verite' style as the director and various crew members struggle with insecurities and politics that seem to be exacerbated by the presence of their delightful foreign guest.

3 stars (Good Enough) I don't think the screenplay quite worked in places but the plot idea was interesting enough and there were some good performances from the female members of the cast. ~Tubbs
