Aroview: Beleaguered, not to mention slobbish, medieval knights Jean Reno and Christian Clavier are plonked down is present-day Paris to duel over customs and tastes. This Pythonesque time-travel romp clocked in as the all-time box office champ in France. Some say much of the humour doesn't survive the translation, but we'd beg to differ - some inspired, visually arresting slapstick cuts through those legendary French pretentions.
