Aroview: Close-up account of the cracking political contest for the marginal seat of Wellington Central during the 1996 general election, given a dramatic kick courtesy of the unusual dynamics of MMP.

Though slanted by access privileges, it still offers a remarkably even-handed peek at the backstage machinations of a political campaign. Candid candidates, including Alick Shaw, Pauline Gardiner, Mark Thomas, and Richard Prebble, and a little benefit of hindsight make this a rousing political engagement.
