Aroview: A baffling series of events beset jazz-saxophonist Harvey Keitel after a near-death experience in this hard-to-summarise, initially shelved thriller from writer/dir. Paul Auster (MUSIC OF CHANCE, SMOKE). An aura of Kafka-esque mystery pervades the stark city setting, while the somewhat pretentious pace of events involving Mira Sorvino and Willem Dafoe, is redeemed by an all-explaining denoument.
