Aroview: A young Scottish undertaker (Tennant) follows an aspiring American actress back to La-la land, where he competes with the shallow excesses and hollow promises of the culture to keep her attention.

An amiable if scattershot comedy from the brother of Finnish cult director, Aki Kaurismaki, whose influence obviously attracted the hip talents of Johnny Depp, Julie Delpy, and especially Vincent Gallo, who appears rather more in his element jamming with the Leningrad Cowboys than concerning himself with the slight romance of the central story.
