Where's Marlowe?

Aroview: A sly if uneven low-budget comedy that blends (and parodies) two genres - the film noir detective film and the mockumentary. Shooting a documentary on private investigators, a pair of upstart film-makers keep the cameras rolling when one of their subjects is murdered, then join in to help his grieving partner solve the mystery. Miguel Ferrar is excellent as the neurotic gumshoe.
