A Slight Case of Murder
Aroview: A light case of noir pastiche, but an engaging one, especially for the film savvy. With confessional asides to the camera, a sly-winking William H. Macy plays an uptight TV film critic who is blackmailed by a private eye after a fatal episode with a girlfriend. Macy also co-wrote the script from a Donald E. Westlake novel.
