Aroview: Aboard the hospital spaceship 'Nightingale', psycho-patient Troy Larsen is on the loose after gaining super-powers from an alien artifact. Short on exploding stars and long on dark corridor-prowls, the crew of Robert Forster, James Spader, Angela Bassett and others come off fairly well considering the deep-space vacuum where the ideas should be. Passable special f/x though. Note: Director Thomas Lee is a pseudonym for Walter Hill, and the replacement monicker for the now reviled Alan Smithee.
