Filth and the Fury, The
Aroview: Film-maker Julien Temple gives an angry and commanding voice to 'The Sex Pistols' (incl. the late Sid Vicious), who tell their story 'like it really was' and steal back some of the thunder and dignity from their notorious and estranged manager, Malcolm McLaren. As thorough and informative as any retrospective documentary, this is also a creative, vital work in its own right that in true punk tradition, takes you by the lapels and gives you a f***ing good grapple.

4 stars (Very Good) Excellent account, straight from the horse's mouth, of the rise and fall of the one and only Sex Pistols. Having seen Johnny Rotten perform on his 1996 tour, I eagerly awaited this film and it truly delivered. Revealing and extremely honest. ~GenXGirl
5 stars (Exceptional) The documentary takes an intelligent perspective on the punk scene in retrospect and is fairly objective and revealing. Of interest to any Sex Pistols fans. ~Anon
