Another State of Mind

Aroview: A compelling time-capsule from the early 1980s American punk-scene, documenting the travails of two L.A. bands (Social Distortion and Youth Brigade) on a nation-wide tour of the USA.

They set out in the first flush of adventure, but before long their idealism is thwarted by bad food, mechanical breakdowns and band-arguments, adding poignance to their quest. Cameo scenes with the renowned ‘straightcore’ group Minor Threat provide a highpoint.
