USA 1996, 92 minutes
Dir. John Greyson
Rating: [M]
Genres: Drama / LGBT

Aroview: Stylised, ripely sensual adaptation of Michel Marc's play 'Les Feluettes' set in a men's prison in 1950s Quebec, where the inmates kidnap a local Catholic bishop and enact a play in which his younger self appears, and gradually, the real world dissolves into the theatrical. An ambitious, accessible piece of experimental cinema that won 4 Canadian 'Oscars'. With Marcel Sabourin, Aubert Pallascio and Matthew Fergusson.
