Titus

Aroview: A ferocious, no-holds-barred reading by Anthony Hopkins, Jessica Lange and Alan Cumming of Shakespeare's early play, the baroque, and bloodthirsty 'Titus Andronicus'. The Roman setting is realised in a lurid, non-naturalistic style that surrounds the severed limbs, tongues and heads of its black-comic tale with modern-day flourishes, most of which hit the mark. Taken from the director's own off-Broadway stage version and filmed on location in Italy.
