Truth About Demons, The

Aroview: A sceptical occult investigator (Karl Urban) can't shake off the increasingly grotesque visions that are seemingly the handywork of a vengeful Satanic leader and his unruly band of tattooed punks.

Demonic shenanigans prove to be mumbo-jumbo indeed, but this horror 'homage' sets a cracking pace, has a moody soundtrack and the dream logic offers plenty of scope for macabre, well-staged set pieces.
