Men of Honour
Aroview: As a US Navy serviceman in WW2, Cuba Gooding Jnr. overcomes institutionalised racism, then prejudice in another form later in life when he suffers a leg amputation in the line of duty.
Real-life biography is well-meaning but is as brutally instructive as Robert De Niro's turn as a cruel-to-be-kind military trainer.
