Antwone Fisher
Aroview: From a uniquely autobiographical screenplay by the real Antwone Fisher, Denzel Washington takes the helm and stars as a US Navy psychiatrist who takes on the case of an enlisted man who has attacked a fellow seaman.
His sincerely delivered, emotive drama soon evokes the demons of a troubled past - abuse, abandonment, torture - stopping just short of the sanitised Hollywood treatment, with honest and refined performances lifting the material.

0 star (Not rated) Anything with Denzel W is bound to be good - and this is. Derek Luke outstanding as a troubled young sailor. We all have to deal with stuff one day. Highly recommended . ~Pops
2 stars (Good Try) It is a slow moving two hours. There is plenty of dialogue, probably more suited to a stage play, but the performances all round are fine. ~Tubbs
