Aroview: Set in the early 1960s, this begins as a typical coming-of-age comedy, with Jennifer Jason Leigh and her son shifting to Smalltown, USA for various rites of passage. Later events, such as an unwanted pregnancy, are well-handled as the story gets progressively darker, though never strays too far from the familiar.
