Aroview: Live-action version of the Dr Seuss classic that does some justice to the anarchic vision of the mean-spirited Grinch, who’s heart is “two sizes too small” and sets out to steal yuletide gifts everywhere.

Adorned with impressive makeup, Jim Carrey cavorts with ease in the lead-role, though purists will bemoan some of the Hollywood liberties that have been taken.

3 stars (Good Enough) We learn exactly why the Grinch has such an aversion to the festive season, and it's difficult not to have a little sympathy. Nice Hollywood adaptation of this Christmas classic. ~GenXGirl
