Walk the Talk

Aroview: In her followup to LOVE SERENADE, dir. Barrett depicts the quixotic career of Italian-Australian Salvatore Coco, as he struggles to run a talent agency on the Gold Coast. Again casting a glance at society’s marginal subcultures, where idealism rubs up against ugly reality, this perhaps misses the sympathetic dimensions of its predecessor, though performances from Sacha Horler and Nikki Bennett are admirable.
