Everybody Famous
Aroview: A hit in the Netherlands and at festivals, this half-sweet, half-cringe-inducingly sour satire, sees truly mediocre singer Eva Van Der Gucht being driven by her father to hit the talent-contest circuit.
Inevitably, other paths to fame (or rather infamy) present themselves, especially once they encounter pop-singer Thelka Reuten at a weak moment. For all its dark twists though, this remains crowd-pleasingly jolly.
