Aroview: Panorama of East Timor’s struggle to regain independence from Indonesia following the 1975 invasion, expressed through the 24 year exile of former foreign minister Jose Ramos Horta. Intercutting interviews with archive footage, the filmmakers make the most of their special access to Ramos Horta during the leadup and disastrous aftermath of the 1999 referendum.
