Legend of Hell House, The

Aroview: Hoary British haunted house yarn based on Richard Matheson’s novel has four ‘experts’ (a skeptical physicist and his wife, a medium and a ‘survivor’) bedding down at ‘Hell House’ in a bid to secure hard evidence of paranormal life.

Plushly appointed and exquisitely photographed, but the mortal elements creak of old wood, with the exception of Pamela Franklin’s highly-pitched performance.
