Kung Pow - Enter the Fist

Aroview: This novelty kung-fu parody has a couple of great set pieces, a fistful of chucklers and whole lotta filler, comprised of intercut and overdubbed footage from an anonymous 70s martial arts epic.

Star/director Steve Oedekerk runs rings around evil warlords as some kind of ‘chosen one’, like a bargain-basement Jim Carrey (whom he has formerly directed). It’s far more slap dash than it should/could have been - the kind of shamelessly no-brow entertainment that requires a certain frame of no-mind.
