Time for Drunken Horses, A
Aroview: Set in remote Kurdistan, along the mountainous smuggling border between Iran and Iraq, this chronicles the pitiable circumstances of a recently orphaned Kurdish family of five.
Like many Iranian films this centres on the plight of children and is more harrowing than most, as the orphans are drawn into child labour to buy dinner, while relations turn the other way and freezing blizzards swirl about them. A simple, harshly beautiful window into this particular reality, by the world’s first Kurdish director.

2 stars (Good Try) A somewhat tiresome romanticization of the lives of children under harsh conditions. One learns nothing from this. ~Sandy
3 stars (Good Enough) If I could use the label "Reality Fiction" I feel it would be pretty close to describing this drama. ~Tubbs
