Aroview: Belated and little known second film from the director of “The Wicker Man” about a rural Irishwoman whose teaching stint in Dublin finds romantic potential in three men - one of whom is a psychotic murderer who woos his victims with eloquently suggestive phone calls.

Laden with blood-red herrings and overstretched truths, this is fascinating for its flaws - muddled psycho-sexual allusions, academic pretentions, tacky humour, and howlingly kinky finale.
