Bourne Identity, The
Aroview: A stylish transcription of the Robert Ludlum thriller, with amnesiac CIA super-agent Matt Damon scrambling to survive as he’s hunted across Europe by the Agency trying to cover their tracks.
Recruiting drifter Franke Potente into the fray is the perfect opportunity for star-chemistry, but matters remain pretty unsmiling and serious. Good action-scenes, though.

4 stars (Very Good) A new movie franchise is Bourne, with Damon taking the lead as (ex?) CIA action hero who is as awesome at kicking ass as he is terrible at remembering his history. An intriguing and tense spy thriller that should be seen. ~Tom H
4 stars (Very Good) Fast, intense and action-packed, but with is also has a brain, and that's what makes it so special. ~Wizzums
4 stars (Very Good) Slightly ludicrous premise (Swiss bank account? Multiple passports? Gun? What could I possibly be?) but cranks along splendidly, with the wonderfully real Potente supplying a much-needed human dimension. ~HiFi
