Aroview: The intense friendship between romantic poets Wordsworth (John Hannah) and Coleridge (Linus Roache) is the subject of this 18th century psychedelic tale.

Starting with the French Revolution, Coleridge, veering ever-deeper into opium dreams, is clearly the hero to Wordsworth’s sellout and though flagrantly fictionalized, the script avoids the obvious in bringing this exciting era to attention. Dir. Temple proves a dab hand at the ‘trip’ sequences.
