Lou Reed - Rock and Roll Heart
Aroview: Filmic biography tracing the life and career of iconic musician Lou Reed, from his seminal work with The Velvet Underground in the late 60s through to his current mantle as the elder statesman of alternative rock. Doesn't dig up much dirt considering Reed's past reputation, opting to instead tribute an exceptional and uncompromised career.

5 stars (Exceptional) Brilliant on songwriting. Consists of images/performances imposed over a long 1998 interview mostly with the musician. A revelation, which we never had with Dylan. Packed with great music and interesting insights. A truly great Rock N' Roll movie. ~Sandy
3 stars (Good Enough) A really well balanced documentary comprising music and interviews. The interviewees whilst pro Reed are not the arse licking type. Plenty of performance archival footage. ~Tubbs
