Final Destination 2
Aroview: Inevitably tongue-in-cheek sequel to one of the better teen horror’s of the late nineties replaces the original’s doomed air-crash with an impressively over-the-top car pile-up, from which a band of ‘survivors’ escape their pre-ordained fate by a premonition.
But soon ‘Death’ comes a callin’ to take back his victims one by one in a series of elaborate set-ups that are by now familiar and so increasingly ridiculous. Paying homage to countless ‘bodycount’ movies, those that were born well after say, THE OMEN series, might shriek with delight, but we say this still suffers from acute sequelitis.

Average rating (Good Enough). Showing 1-2 of 2 member reviews.
3 stars (Good Enough) Decent follow-up to the first teen horror, FD2 amps up the comedy and imaginative death sequences, while the acting and dialogue give us plenty of reasons to laugh with each outrageous death. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) It gets repetitive because you can soon understand how things are going to work out. The suspense element is gone. ~Tubbs
