Between Strangers
Aroview: The lives of three quite different women move into thematic proximity in this lightweight, but worthy drama.
As played by Loren, Sorvino and Unger, they all carry the burden of unfulfilled emotions and ambitions, and seem haunted by visions of a young girl. Graced with a stellar cast and directed by Sophia Loren's son, this at times feels mainly the product of its high-blown connections, though finally its heart is in the right place.
